Section II – 101 Mobility’s Initial Franchise Fee, Royalty Fee, and Marketing Fee

  • Initial Franchise Fee:  $44,000 to $74,000
  • Royalty Fee:  7% of Gross Sales from the Franchised Business for up to $500,000 in Gross Sales; 6% of Gross Sales in excess of $500,000 and up to $1 million; 5% of Gross Sales in excess of $1 million; 7% for Outside Territory Sales; and 10% of Gross Sales if, on the expiration of your Franchise Agreement, you continue to operate and 101 Mobility, at its option, extends the term of your Franchise Agreement month-by-month
  • Minimum Royalty Fee:  a fixed quarterly amount, imposed on your third full and each subsequent operating quarter as follows: $2,100 for your third and fourth full operating quarters, $3,600 for your fifth through eighth full operating quarters, and $5,400 for each subsequent operating quarter
  • Marketing Fee:  currently 2% of Gross Sales per week; 101 Mobility has the right to increase this up to 4% of Gross Sales
  • Local Marketing:  up to 2% of Gross Sales

  • As of the end of the 2023 calendar year, 101 Mobility had 56 franchisees (operating 172 Franchised Businesses) whose Franchised Businesses were in operation during the full 2022 and 2023 calendar years and had not been transferred.
  • In the chart below, 101 Mobility groups these 56 franchisees into 5 quintiles, from the top performing quintile to the bottom quintile for each calendar year, and presents each quintile’s average per Territory Sales and average per Territory Rebates.
  • While these 101 Mobility franchisees operated anywhere from 1 to 9 Territories each, 101 Mobility divided their total annual Sales by the number of Territories each operated at the end of 2022 for the 2022 “per Territory” averages and the number of Territories each operated at the end of 2023 for the 2023 “per Territory” averages in the chart below.

  • As stated in the disclosure document, franchisees are permitted to offer and provide products and equipment in areas surrounding their Territory which have not yet been granted to 101 Mobility franchisees. These sales are also included in the above chart. Once these surrounding areas are granted as Territories to other franchisees, sales in these areas will no longer be permitted.
